Indeed piracy has it's downsides; for some more often than others. Despite being a life of freedom to do whatever and go wherever you generally please, there are always bound to be those who will cross you. Be they rivals seeking to plunder your own hard earned booty or stop you from plundering theirs, or enemy seafarers who don't agree with your way of living, not everyone can be talked down in such a cutthroat lifestyle.

Captain Warhammer's cunning and charm don't always yield the necessary results to keep her safe from enemy eyes (and blades), and sometimes you just have to do what needs to be done to make sure you're the one who walks away with your head on your shoulders. That often might mean removing theirs.

Here, Telsei was caught off guard by a rival pirate captain, a rather bitter half-orc of a man, and a pretty bloody battle ensued. While normally fairly merciful of those she manages to defeat in combat, when backed into a corner and at a disadvantage, sometimes she's more than willing to ensure her survival by any means necessary. After all, you wouldn't last long as a pirate if you're afraid to get your hands dirty.
