Here you go, ya'll havent seen any decent graphite stuff from me in a while. Felt pretty good to do it. I know it's not what you are used to (not a horse) haha but I have a big fettish for deer. 45 min. i should have added a lot more contrast. i don't know, I don't really like this one. He's a very handsome six point buck. With a rack like that I'd be worried about hunters

Lovely use of shading on the muscles; I like the way they bulge and exhibit the power of the animal even while it's doing something as simple as eating.

Looks great, i seeing things besides just horses. Not that they are a bad thing (im horse crazy too!) but its nice to see some other things. Deer could also become a specailty for you!

well, I have 2 dogs in my gallery, one of mine and one of a great dane. I want to try an animal that i have never done beofre...aside horses, dogs, and deer thats about it. So, whats an attractive animal that watchers like yourself would like to see me do?

Oh he's so nice! He reminds me of a young buck I saw in Wyoming... just so peaceful until we drove by him to get a closer look. lol. We thought he was something better and were like, "Lets turn around and have a look." He darted away...

i love the shapes. the texture of the coat is so accurate too! i love the way it fades from dark to light, like the actual buck would. lovely.
