Cut me out from the cold,

A few weeks ago, I was lucky to be able to visit my grandparents. My youngest two went along and we filled our lungs and hearts with the cleanest of air and clearest of moments turned to memories.

Down the river a way is a wonderful little waterfall--one I've jump from during much warmer months. It looks quite lovely in it's frozen tannin tinged glory. For this shot, I crept (wow...that's a word? ) my way out on the ice with my camera and tripod. And then scooted farther out. And farther. Gosh I'm such a...pusher, lol, of my luck. All was fine here though and we walked back down to the waterfall. I sent the kids up to the car to warm up, and while my son was a bit leery about leaving me alone-- I told him to go ahead, that I would call if there was a problem.

So yeah, I jinxed myself. Slipped on the ice. Sorta...jiggled my brains a bit and a few days later had a mini-relapse. I'm greatly improved, and being a much better behaved girl.
