|Kumori has a naturally maternal nature, as can be expected from her being a mother. She cares for anyone she has a conection with, her children, her friends and even her own parents, this also makes her very protective of those dear to her.|
|Kumori not only cares for people in a maternal way, but also in a way that someone can see her as a sweetheart, mainly making sure no one is hurt in fights, stopping fights and so on.|
|Due to living in Yomo for so long with not many people to talk to except dead people, demons, a screaming woman and, maybe, the occassional god, she doesn't talk a lot, until in her goddess form, then she gains a confidence that only comes from the goddess of death.|
|Because of her maternal nature, she is quiet defensive when it comes to people she cares about. She also remains defensive against her ex.|

Biography:
Izanami was a mother. She loved her children, her husband, her family. Of course, not all is without fight. Izanami was continuously hurt by her husband, mentally of course. He blamed her for being more bubbly and eventually snuffed it out. Unfortunately, Izanami had been pregnant. Her confidence that made her strong deminished so, after giving birth to the god of fire, she died because of the third degree burns that littered her body. Of course, her spirit wandered around, becoming an animal and a person before she was finally sent to Yomo, her current domain...

Her husband had searched for her, but found her too late. She had eaten food of Yomo, and so needed to stay in Yomo. She told him she would talk to the council of Yomo, and so he let her, for a time. She asked that he didn't look at her. In curiousity, he lit a clip and saw her body, rotting and decaying. In a panic, he screamed and ran. Kumori, enraged at her trust being broken, sent the shrieking woman and a god after her husband. He escaped and locked her away. In anger, she shrieked that she would have 1000 people die, in reply he said he'd make 1500. She stayed in Yomo, enraged by the man she called her husband. Her loneliness grew and grew and she became more and more sad.

> Her human name, Kumori, means 'Shadow', her last name, Kojiki, is in reference to the text that describes her death and the tomb she was placed in.
- Kojiki is the oldest extant chronicle in Japan. It's name means 'Records of Ancient Matters'.
> Her powers are death and darkness focused, except for Incarnation, an ability she had in her life before Yomo.
- Her other abilities can cause visions of rotting corpses, place a being in their worst nightmare and raise the dead.
> She's only had one relationship in her life. They seperated after he abandoned her in Yomo.
