How did you get such a smooth surface? I assume you used regular latex - And that can be anoying to get smooth unless you spray it

I dont use latex if I can help it. I use various different polyurathane resins sprayed.

Sorry i didnt get back to you been away working for a couple of days. I use a range of resins from Smooth-on You can find them online. I use a touch up spray gun for spraying the resin as it is to thick for my airbrush. Its not a simple process and needs a bit more equipment than painting latex but gives better results. As far as maintanance, there isnt really any. The resin as very resiliant and can be repaired by mixing a little up and touching in.

ok, great(because in denmark, people bitch alot if the weapons are too hard - Which is understandable)
I checked out smooth-on's website, but Ive got a hard time finding the stuff that I think you are using - Could you link me to it - I would appreciate it greatly

Will check tomorrow but i think i use vytaflex 10 and 20, and brush on 40. Brush on 40 mixed 50;50 with vyta flex 20 make a paintable mix that you can brush on like you would latex.
