Aww Dodo, it looks beautiful! I'm soooo happy to see some art of Mei's new design at last!!
I really love the shading on this one, it's like cell shading around the edges and then it looks softer in the middle areas, such a cool yet subtle contrast of shading styles.
The background is just FA-BU-LOUS, those sunset colours almost remind me of the opening to The Lion King!

Yeah I think she works well in detailed backgrounds because of her simplicity - I think she'd make a good extra for The Lion King aswell
