Body Build: Piasas are one of the largest races of Gaea with broad shoulders and muscular, powerful bodies. Even dragonesses tend to be only a foot or so shorter than the drakes and are still have larger muscles than the females of other races despite their curvy figures. As beings of fire, they have red markings along their backs close to their spines. Fire ignites from these pontoons when the Piasa are angry or agitated. Piasas also have dragon-like ears. They have dragon-scales covering their ears and pontoons along with their eyes, spines, rumps, and the upper parts of their hands and feet.
Hair: Hair colours are commonly any shade of blonde, orange, red, pink or white.
Eye Colours: Piasas have large eyes that are shades of gold, yellow, orange, red or green. When angered a Piasa’s irises will turn into slits. When hypnotising someone, the colour of their pupils cover the scela of their eye as the iris thins into a slit and turns a whitish-purple, causing the eyes to glow.
Skin Tones: Piasa skin is normally fair or olive coloured. Some have fairer complexions, but it is not as common as olive skin tones.
Body Evolutions:
Scaly Body: Their bodies become completely covered in dragon-scales with only their faces, chests and stomachs remaining skinned.
Wing-like Flaps: Flaps of skin grow along their ribs that can extend out, allowing them to glide.
Dragon Horns: Piasas sprout horns from their heads.
Dragon Legs: Their legs can grow slightly longer and their feet begin to look like a dragon’s, this allows them to leap or run great distances.
Dragon Tail: A long serpentine tail grows out from their rear with a flaming tip.
Dragon Fangs & Claws: Their teeth and nails grow longer and sharper.
Dragon Force: When using Dragon Force, a Piasa’s entire body turns into flames, making them look feral-like. Their eyes turn one solid colour and have no pupil.

Species Summary: A nation known for their ingenuity and creativity, Piasas are erratic geniuses. Although they are known as the muscle species of Gaea they are more feared for their intelligence and cunning rather than their strength.
With a strong desire for knowledge, Piasas are wise in the scientific facets of Gaea. Many Piasas are renowned mechanics, engineers, technicians and inventors.
Talented problem solvers, they are very innovative with competent practical abilities as they are experts in gadgets and gizmos. They show amazing creativity in their work and use their ideas to transform their scientific knowledge into surprising tools, vehicles and weapons. In fact, it was a Piasa who invented the first flying air-craft.
However, being extremely intelligent, Piasas tend to get a little full of themselves. Self-assured, they can be arrogant and often look down upon others, especially non-Piasas. They can also be rather selfish as they often never really do anything without there being something in it for themselves.
Piasas have a fiercely strong desire to present themselves. As such, they hate being out-done in anything, becoming suspicious and jealous when coming in second-best. Not the most patient of Gaea’s people, they can be rather mouthy.
Despite their fallbacks, anyone who is friends with a Piasa knows that life is never dull as they are very lively and quick-witted. Flexible and versatile, they are the life of any party. Known for their caring and devoted nature, seeing those they are close to as a member of their family.

Another species for my Destiny Stones story.
I've actually had this species for a while, but never quite got around to drawing them.
They were orginally very different from the ones that I've drawn. First off, they didn't have horns or dragon-like feet. I decided to add in these features to make them look a little less ordinary.
