I like the pose of this creature and the look of his eyes, they give him a lot of personality.

As a servant who take care of childrens' souls, I wanted to give him innocent look, but also somehow disturbing... I don't know if I achieved this effect

I feel like the creature has a very innocent and shy look to him. I feel like the posture of the creature adds to this feeling and maybe adds a bit of a mischievous element to him. Also your technique of hatching lines to describe the texture of his fur, the shape of his body, and shading is remarkable. I will probably be looking at this piece for reference on some future drawings. I think the use of strong directional lighting coming down on his body was a good idea too. I think this creates some of that disturbing quality in his looks you mentioned. It would be interesting to see this creature in an environment, does it live in the woods, under a child's bed, in a closet?

It actually lives in the immaterial world, this is just my interpretation on its apearance. It's one of 13 servants of Death, so it lives in a realm of Death along with others... When a child dies, it takes their soul to its realm so it could pass safely to the other dimention straight to the Death's Daughter who decides if this soul is capable of reincarnating or if it's just ready to meet Death itself for a final verdict... Yeah, and that's how I dive into my personal beliefes :,)
