A scene of Kogenta and Riku in the end of episode 38Kogenta: I.... your parents... I've done something terrible. I... attacked you. I've done something to you that I can never take back... I have no right to become Shikigami of Trust. No longer... I'm not worthy of your trust anymore. Please cancel your contract with me. Leave me in Naraku.
Riku: My father... my mother... It's my fault... that they suffered greatly. Because I existed... they returned to the Ten-Ryuu castle. They suffered... they suffered so much... but they were able to leave me. They probably were relieved.
Kogenta: Riku! What are you saying?!
Riku: They made me feel so sad... so I couldn't talk about it. I'm sorry, Kogenta... for not opening my heart to you before. Even now... I still trust you.
Kogenta: Stupid. Stupid! You... you are wrong! You actually hate me! You're mad at me! Hit me with all your might! It won't be okay till you do!
Riku: It's been a while since you were mad like that. I.. do not hate you. It's this power fault. It's the fault of the people who use powerful force like yours for evil.
Kogenta: Riku.
Riku: I'm telling the truth. Perhaps being the Head of the Ten-Ryuu doesn't mean anything to me. But... I will use this power... justly... so that no one else will suffer like I have.
Kogenta: Riku. I'm sorry. I'm sorry!

I haven't started watching this yet, but I plan to after finding so much awesome art of the series.

this is trully a great tribute to a good series someone who takes honor and pride in a show they love you show kogenta great honor,love and respect with this im so happy to see true fans doing a wonderful job for the shows they love, this is indeed awe inspiring thank you for posting this, kogenta means something special to everyone and plus he is so awesome and cool all around thank you.

Kogenta: What... what are you saying?
Gabriel: The time for redemption is near.
Kogenta: Wait! I can't leave Naraku after Riku terminated his contract with me...
*Gabriel grabs Kogenta's hand and ascends from Naraku with the Byakko holding his hand.*
Gabriel: Trust me... when everything is over, you will see him again.
