I’ll give you a little info on Spyro

He’s a Purple dragon, a legendary one, and if I remember correctly, in this world, there’s a purple dragon born every 6 or 7 generations, something like that

Malefor here used to be a good purple dragon, until something in his past caused him to turn evil

Again, if you really want to know more about Spyro and everything else about him, go to his Wikipedia page

If they have one, which I assume they should

Well, like I said about Malefor, he’s the villain in the later Spyro games, you’ll have to look at as much stuff as possible, if you really want to know the full story

Videos, Wikipedia, forums, etc.

Or you could just ask around if someone knows about it
