Hi folks, hoping you're all well

Today I have another moment from Darker Wanderings and one I've wanted to draw for a good while now; the moment that the two Ollies meet Mallow. Though at this point Timer is also travelling with Mallow, but at this moment he's headed off around the corner whilst Oliver the Dragon and Mallow are cheerfully chatting about the places they've seen since they all arrived in this strange dimension.

I always imagined the meeting goes along the lines of the Ollies walking along talking about things they can remember from their homes, meanwhile Timer, ever cautious, hears them and orders Mallow to hide. They listen to what they're talking about and upon hearing that Human Ollie eats marshmallows, Mallow begins to freak out. This blows his and Mallow's cover and the four confront each other. Timer and Oliver the Dragon get straight to fighting whilst Human Ollie and Mallow talk. Ollie apologises for causing Mallow any discomfort and explains that where he's from he often drinks marshmallows with hot chocolate. Mallow is baffled by this concept and says his own marshmallows on his spine are more like seeds. The two become acquainted and turn their concerns to their fighting friends. It's at this moment Ollie has the realisation; somehow he knows that Oliver and Timer are actually old friends.

The two rush over to stop their battle and Ollie explains to them both that though they can't remember each other, he recognises that they are actually old, close friends. Whilst Oliver begins to search his recently resurfaced memories and begins to remember Timer, Timer has absolutely no recollection of Oliver, but agrees to stop battling since he senses no threat from the two newcomers. Mallow invites his new friends to come and see his cottage, which just happens to be around the corner. Timer sets off with Human Ollie in tow, but he stops to look back and sees Oliver and Mallow further back having a conversation. He chuckles and thinks of how this reminds him of two other people he knew in his life.
