A quickie 1-2 hour thing. My thoughts on the new starters. :'D I like the other two well enough- about as much as I ever like grass and water starters. The newest generation looks pretty fun~FIRE POKEMON FOREVER. <3
Edit: It's been brought to my attention that the heights of the starters are off- thanks! I won't be changing the deviation, but I'm aware of the inconsistencies. <3

I will always love the fire starter! Piglet's actually a reference to Winnie the Pooh~ (haha formative years. :'D) I didn't actually end up choosing a Tepig for my starter because I'm tired of fire/fighting types, but I still really love it.

This became made of win the second I read that you'd name one piglet XD.
I always pick the fire starter too... except last gen, I don't know why but a lapse in judgement made me pick piplup 
It's a little disappointing that alot of people seem to hate the Pokabu line though ;_; I understand its not quite as beautiful or "awesome" as the grass or water lines, but I think it deserves love.
For the record though I think this may be the first generation where i pick one of each starter (because as per usual, we KNOW there'll be a third game)

With Piglet as a starter, I might go with that theme and just name my pokemon Pooh, Owl, Rabbit... something like that. xDD
Aw, but the Pokabu line is so cute! And fire! It really is my favorite of the new starter lines.

This set has me torn, not since cyndaquil have I questioned my grass loves so much. I love the grass snake to death, but the water otter is so cool too. I just want them all. GAWD.

Yeah, it is. The chalk candies tasted like chalk (>< stated the obvious), but at least they came with pokeballs. Pokemon ramen is pretty damn good though.

I have only ever played Pokemon Blue. But I'm reading the manga (awesome) and watching some of the anime, so I should be up to speed

Bah, the cartoon was only good for the first season or so. xD I don't watch that anymore, but I've played... just about every generation of the game, except for fire red/leaf green. I haven't read the manga!

Hmmmm... I'll continue the cartoon for a little longer yet. Team Rocket coming in on every episode is a little annoying, but ah well. I hardly have access to handhelds, so I got a Magikarp and then I couldn't get back to the game. Perhaps I'll be able to sometime! The manga is rather awesome, because the characters aren't as flighty as those in the anime, and there is serious plot!
