The soundless cry of an empty heartAn endless race that has no start
Forgotten yet it can be found
Loud but never makes a sound
Smiling, how can it be sad
Can goodness really trump the bad
Youthful yet it feels so old
Being warm and really cold
Claims victory without a race
Appears intact, but out of place
Smells so bitter, tastes so sweet
Hearts that really never beat
In search of truth to find the lies
Lacking wings but tries to fly
Breaths in air, but has no life
Granting pity but causing strife
Born to live, but all must die
While nothingness waits by the bye…

All of these are old works, with some being pretty recent. I am trying to put back some works I deleted when I had that breakdown a few months ago. I do have a new series of poetry coming in mid November called 'Mercy Mild'
