qda [2005-04-05 22:41:46 +0000 UTC]

i think the saturation on the bug is JUST a tad too high

great work with the polaroids.. ive seen at least a few of them in real life.. oh they existed....yepp

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

drahomira In reply to qda [2005-04-06 19:56:10 +0000 UTC]

the saturation i don't know. maybe rather the luminosity

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

qda In reply to drahomira [2005-04-06 21:18:51 +0000 UTC]

actually, i think that the 'outline' of the bug is too bright.. looks like a cutout.. perhaps darken its left, left-upper, and left-lower edges? i dunno.. not sure.. hard to say because a lot about the picture is strange

How on earth did you get the giant insect to hold still???
Peanut butter maybe? Giant bugs really do enjoy their peanut butter.

51 out of 66... I'll be deeply saddened when the series ends.

Love the realness of this manip, it looks completely realistic, until you really examine in the content.

Sweet work!

Seriously, I love these. These poloaroids are so surreal, and well done. Absolutely excellent work
You know these could be a book in themselves.

The photograph has an appearance of total calm. Everything is in it's proper place and just how it should be.

I always wonder what would happen next if we could see the situation after five minutes when I see your "66 PolaroΓ―ds That Never Existed" series.

I love pr0jectz' comment, I wish I'd thought of it first...

ahh yes the nuclear family, a lesbian couple raising a boy named Beaver with there gaint pet ant, reminds me of home. Awesome.

Again, fantastic! I want to visit that nature preserve with those upstanding ladies and thier young charge. The blue tint on this shot really brings the composite together, making the bug in the background look like it's really there.

Great work!

i love this series, the colors on this are so perfectly 'period'. i like the detail of the shadow that the ant throws - its just right. it has that surreal quality of the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park or something too - where your brain tries to work out that its fake but you can't quite disbelieve it. very cool.
