A young male African wild dog and a young female dhole (Indian wild dog) share a single umbrella amidst the torrent of a brazen rainstorm, grateful for nothing more than dry fur together . Even in our hardest times, be it through friendship or marriage; even if all we have left is each other standing under the shelter of only an umbrella (or less), there is hope, there is life, there is each other.

For those that really know me, I'm not much into hiphop, including Rihanna, but I love this song. It is beautiful and conveys a theme not commonly found in hiphop music: devotion and true love even through the hardest of times. I chose an African wild dog (painted wolf) and a dhole as a switch from traditional wolves wolves. The African painted wolf is one of my favorite African animals and dholes are simply adorable and uncommonly found as anthros.
