Just some drawing tips I wrote and drew today. Very basic, for those who want to draw dragons and the things they should keep in mind.It's hard to explain where my dragons come from since they come out naturally. I based my dragons inspired in my childhood fantasies, natural world and art knowledge. I used to watch a lot of cartoons like He man, inhumanoids, Dinosaucers until Pirates of Dark Waters , which inspired me to get into drawings creatures. I've always loved dinosaurs too, but a dragon should not look like a dinosaur either.
Oh, about the notes: excuse my English, it's not my native language.
(Hope you can fin this useful. Sorry I can't put more info, but had a lot of work to do yet =S )

Interesting tips for drawing a feral dragon a desert one in this case, I can see this as insightful. I would like to see others like this, a more to perspective pose though like good foreshortening or visual angles during in flight, just so hard to find. Also that chimera draco I do say I have seen a lot of dragons drawn like you claim not to do. I myself see the ears instead of horns as more than anything that makes it look more like an ass than a horse face that gets to me, I say nice simple tutorial well done.

Totally agree with the last frame.
I hate it when people draw some horse with bat wings, a griffin, a giant breathing fire centipede or any other 'Weird' creature and chimera and call it a dragon.
Dragons have base to follow. They aren't a place holder where any monster can be thrown in and be called 'dragon'.
