Merry Crit-mas from the Samurai Snowmen!
Vision: I really like the strong idea in this piece of someone presenting a fossil in a museum in the world of Pokemon, from the other piece on the left, to the info-graphic on the right, to the very archaeologist-looking woman presenting the piece with her cute Omanyte sidekick.
Originality: The overall image and idea do feel fresh. Unfortunately almost nothing within the piece feels original. The Pokemon look like stock images, the fossil has the same basic stance I've seen before and could have been copied from elsewhere. The woman looks original but her clothes are chosen to make her a stereotypical archaeologist.
Technique: The artwork's skill seems expert; good lines, good color, good framing. However I have two very small issues. First, when I look closer the wings look wrong; the left has a bone protrusion going with the wing, while the right wing's protrusion goes away from the wing. Second, I don't know whether the Aerodactyl is an actual chunk of stone attached to the wall or a large photo taken from the dig site. The straight-line square frame makes it look like a photo and there's nothing to hold a stone to the wall, but I also can't see a museum proudly displaying such a large photo when the chunk of stone would be better.
Impact: The piece is strongly focused around the central image, which provides a great impact. I don't get any clear emotion from the piece (except for pride from the woman presenter) though museums aren't often a place for high emotion so it fits.

The only thing I'll correct is in the Originality department: Specifically with the archaeologist woman. She's an actual person, the one this picture was a gift for. She picked her own clothes and she's a guide in a museum ^^

Honestly I should have given a higher score for Originality, I had just started Critmas and didn't have a tempered metric for deciding a score; at this point I would probably say more like 3 or 3.5 stars. And Originality is a pretty difficult one to decide.
