Gevangen in de tijd,
Slaafs als een zandloperOp en neer deinend in de wind,
Als een blaadjeVallend van een boom,
Zonder zorgen
Laten we zoveel mogelijk maken
Van de tijd die we hebben gekregen
Voor we straks klagen over tijdgebrek
Terwijl onze zandloper zich al
Tig keer heeft omgeworpen
Waar wij te laat achter kwamen
En de zandloper stopt met zichzelf omkeren

This piece is part of a schoolproject I'm working on, so that's why there is a dutch poem of some sort above here.
The general idea about this piece is that we want to do so many things, but ending up doing to little because we think about the stuff we have to do to much (I'm one of those tho, so a little bit self reflected).
