Description Maybe one of the most precious moments between these two. Jake, the mule, was standing on the hill in the morning looking particularly bored so he decided to lay down because what else was he supposed to do? Arthur, the paint, happened to be walking by and decided Jake's idea was a great one and without hesitation Arthur plopped down right next to Jake. (And this is where I run out of the house with my crap camera to get this moment!) No, Jake and Arthur don't hate each other but I can see them to be the type to never admit being friends either lol. Jake and Arthur are forever trail buddies since I ride Arthur and my dad rides Jake. Jake tends to be the...annoying kid that runs around pestering you while Arthur just has a high tolerance of his antics. Believe it or not, Jake is the older one by a year or two. Even though he's a pest, it's not so bad to have friends. And the second the two got on their feet, they went trotting off into the woods.

So I have a crap ton of things I need to finish....Just stopping to smell the roses with this lol xD (goes back to slaving away)

Dylan was/is part Morgan and Quarter house. Check him out [link] !!! This is a photo of him on my mini-farm. I had to sell the farm so I placed him into a new loving home. It was a win-win for all. I miss him dearly.

Oh my goodness! What a gorgeous photo! It's like a dreamworld I'm glad he found a good home, it's really hard to see a dear friend go especially after working so hard to get his feet in good condition. Just adopted a horse off a rescue farm today. He's got some hoof issues too. He was also a surrendered horse that someone wanted them go to a good home.

I actually used to have a Morgan/Quarter Horse myself They are absolute dolls

I know you will get the that horse's hoof's healed quickly! I can tell that you love horses and are very dedicated/committed to helping them! And I for that!

That sounds just like my horse. My horse is more than likely in his mid-20's, and runs around and gets into trouble all the time. And yeah, I really like mules, mostly because of their cute giant ears. xD

Lol I love spry old horses xD I have one myself. He may be 29 but that's not stopping him from running through the woods like a maniac!

I love his long ears too lol Especially this time of the year when he's so fluffy!! He loves his ears to be rubbed xD

LOL me neither you know i'd kill to have a sapphire blue horse with gorgeous sky blue eyes and a white blaze and four white socks but i can't get my colors right the body is either too light or too dark and the same problem with the eyes gosh i have no creativity today
