Never been a proper fan to vocaloid, just the occasional song here and there, but she and Gackpoid had my eye faster!
I love the thick lining you do, it adds a more energetic look to the general idea, and also I feel it goes awesomely with how bubbly she looks here. Have you ever tried having lines with more or less same thickness and adding then an outer thicker line? That makes the drawings pop out real nice
I love the soft mixture between cell-shading and soft shading, my favorite spot is at her legs where you used blushed on her knees and a soft light down her dress, real lovely, excellent job
Would you perhaps consider making the shadows a little darker? Mostly on her clothes where the shades kind of fade, mainly because in comparison to the skin (for example) where shadows are super neat and notorious
I think you did a great job in this piece, personal bias to the side, ofc, she's looking like a very happy character, with a cute, child-like posing that goes lovely with those cutesy features of her lovely expression! Although, there's something pointy hiding on her back and it stresses me out xD

lol yeah the pointy thing is her cuff like on her other hand, I remember I was kinda conflicted about that too. Thanks so much for the critique! I probably won't go back into this piece because it's so old, but I'll keep what you said in mind for the future!

Mostly busy with working/ personal projects and convention stuff, it's been kind of hectic, but that's life I guess.
Just looking forward to AX when I can finally walk around and enjoy a convention without having to be stuck behind a booth.

Oh gosh, I have no idea, there's a lot of companies that make them even outside of Japan. I don't think she's by the same company that makes Miku and the other more iconic vocaloids, but she's my favorite.
