Nice colors + I like the way you framed the moon with the foliage.

I can tell you really put a lot of effort into getting the fabric folds to look believable, however I think you need to vary your brush settings more. Try using some harder brushes here and there. And yeah, the edges of her dress/body are a little too sharp in relation to everything else; for round forms, there would be a natural blurring of the edges as they roll away from view.

Also, I feel like her arms could be better represented in this shot. Right now both her forearms are completely hidden away which can feel a little odd. I'm sure you've heard that aside from faces, we rely a lot on hands to show a character's expressions, so it would be nice to have at least one of those things visible here.

I also agree with LiussSteen's advices, but I wanted to say I really like your art style, it illustrates a beautiful atmosphere!

I read you want some critiqueΒ  Okay, i will try
Β
Well first of all it' a beautiful picture and what i will mention are just little things and i just want to help you improve
My first point are about the leafs in the background. I think they are too bright because they are just lighten by the moonlight but the moon is on the other side of them so the leafs you can see must be in darkness.
An other point is thhat you are drawing realy sharp and defined outlines but "inside" the objects it is blurred, for example the dress or the stairs.
Also to the dress: i'm not sure if ther are maybe a bit too much creases in the dress. In my opinion it could be less.
And last of all: i don't know with wich program you are working. I use Paint Tool SAI and there is a option named shine with wich you can add more realistic light effects. If your program has this option too you should try it for the light of the lantern

I hope this is some kind of useful for you
Keep it up Β

Thank you very much! I'll be sure to keep all that in mind, might even make some edits to this based on that.
