Stunning drawing - I love the vibrant colors, and the feathers are just gorgeous! I love the white details - may I ask how you made those? Just colored pencil, or pastel or gel pen? They really add a lot of contrast! The brown paper is also a very good choice, and goes very well with the colors of the birds 
To the things you can improve. There is very little to critique here... The bottom right corner is a bit empty, but there is little to do with it, especially as this is also the case on the reference photo. A signature might do it (you have to sign your artwork, after all!).
I also note that the birds are more orange on the reference. You use a lot of red, and some areas which should be more orange are red. However, this is not noticeable unless you look at the reference, so I wouldn't say it's much of a problem. I would also use some brown for shading the red, especially on the head.
But those are just small things - this is really an amazing drawing!

I see now I indeed used to much red. At some point I have looked to long at a reference and then I just oversee those tiny details.
About the white details, I used for those a posca pen. At the link below you can see some pictures of those pens. They are in different thickness and colors. I must say I have never worked with a gel pen, so I don’t know the differences between those two tools, but I am really satisfied with the posca pen, so for you it is worth it try those pens out 😊
