about this demon guy.And it was kind of awesome. And when I woke up I really wanted to draw him. Turns out that, even though (as is the case with most dreamspawned creations) I couldn't quite remember exactly how he looked, the form that he did take on paper was pretty natural to draw out. Like he "likes" to be drawn or something. (Hopefully you know what I mean by that, pff.)
Can't remember if he'd given a name in the dream, but I feel Asar is fitting for now.
...I think I'm keeping him around.
Oh, yeah, enjoy my last minute crotch censoring in the form of plating.

That was last minute censoring there, heh.
And... more what I mean is when a character is alive in your head their personality bleeds through, some are better to work with through writing than drawing most of the time, even if you have a design that works well in your head and should be, in theory, fun and perhaps easy to draw.
Conversely, what you might see, when you break it down, as a challenge, could be easier to draw in one oc compared to other applications. But that oc may be hard to write with.
