Description #aluminium-club has provided me with opportunities to draw things I've always had a secret love for: hot air balloons, suitcases, men in three piece suits, and now an octopus.

I started drawing a more serious picture of Verne, the club mascot, but who can resist a tophat and monocle? (And for the record, I know that's not where his mouth is, lol.) Sadly he doesn't actually have a mustache, but I'd like to think this portrait of him is hanging in one of the halls of AC. xD

Anyway, I'll be doing a reference pic of Verne in his tank soon. And probably a picture of him having a tea party with Abby.

YES. Octopus. He is so dapper and charming! And all those little arms, so much mischief to get up to! Does he have little accessories dropped into his tank for him to play with?

(I kind of want to see him with a bigger top hat, but smooshing himself in to fit entirely . . . in that way that octopuses/octopi/octopodes do.)

Octopuses are the best! I thought he was gonna be really hard to draw, but I ended up laying this sketch down in just a few minutes.
