She is a major player in the fight against the Shadows as her realm borders the realm of Draxis and the Web of Time in such a way that any invasion of the web must go through her lands first. Due to this the son of Storm Thalra and Nadira Drachenstalker, Jastin, is sent to Kasdeya as a suitor to try and tie their two realms closer together with a political marriage.
