Description Was going to put this in scraps, but hey, maybe I'll just move it there in a bit.

Trying to use my daily hour sketching thing (except it always ends up being longer) in a different way today, forcing myself to draw something "not me" in order to ensure that I try to do new stuff and avoid falling into bad old habits.

So yeah, I think he's a bit flaky and poorly defined, but I'm still proud of him in some odd way. Also... I used my little poseable wooden man, and it's been a looooooooong time since I did that!

DARKNUT!!

i don't think i've ever actually used my posing guy for anything; doesn't help that some years ago his arm sprung a spring in a manner which made it impossible to reattach..

Reminds me of the Black Knights in Dungeon Keeper II.... ahh, those were the times

Actually that's a *great* comparison, because I always loved those guys (and the goody knights too). There was a picture of a knight running during the install of DK2 that I always found hella cool and quite inspiring :3

I played DK2 obsessively a few months back too. It's still good ;D

Yup, nice nice and nice. I wish to see this in colours.
Pose gives brave image.

...
yes.

RHINO!
my favorite character, aside from yuko; mainly because his gameplay mechanic was so simple but satisfying (lolol chop through everything)

i think a highly articulated action figure would be more useful than your wooden man... but highly articulated action figures are far and few between these days.

I'm enjoying the style a lot. The washed out color is really working with the rugged strokes. I'd love to do something like this sometime... wish I knew how.

Nice and smooth, even though the character seems bulky and tough.
You know, maybe I'll pull out my little poseable wooden dummy...wouldn't hurt.

Yay for the little posables.. I got three of those and need a hand (litterally) soon.. cause hands are tough.

In word of the drawing; "fav or I cut..." *obeys*

Wow, I didn't even know you could get hands. Seems like they'd be pretty... handy... *groan*

Seriously, I agree, hands are a pain. And thanks, your quote gave me a laugh.

Yes and yes they're very handy and expensive cause you gotta get all these opposing joints right, spring tension and all.. jeepers.. I want one soooo bad.

XD cool; I love making people laugh, when I'm not feeding them things that hopefully won't make them explode....

...too much!
