I tried downloading this but it only gave me the config folder, I can't use him. How can I get him to work? I also downloaded Thor but I ran into the same problem except I only got images. :/

Okay, I'm completely lost. I've looked through the comments for suggestions and nothing has helped me.
I didn't want to download any new programs to run the rar file (I have a bad history with strange programs invading my computer XP), so I converted the file to a zip. Then it told me to update Java; I did, but it keeps telling me that itΒ needs updated. And in the folder, I'm pretty sure the file beneath the Application file is supposed to have the Java symbol; it's a "jar" file and my computer tells me that it doesn't have the right program to open it.
Can someone please help? This has never happened to me with my other Shimejis, and I really want to use this one!

Just open or extract the rar/zip file, then click the .jar or .exe file.

When I do that a bunch of Japanese pops up and it asks me yes or no, so I click yes and a java page opens on internet explorer that is all in japanese! I can't understand!
