Arghhh, it's been ages since I've used the pen tool in PS..I usually do my lineart in illustrator...or PhotoImpact...well, mostly in PhotoImpact LOL

I have no choice since I've only got cs5! Plus my tablet sucks so I try to use the pen tool rather than free hand outline, it's good for colouring & shading though

Hurrah for Sonic!
You know, I think your style is extremely similar to the "offical" Sonic art by Sega. I reckon it's the smooth shading that does it
The only thing I can see that's a bit off in the picture is Sonic's right hand (the one he's pointing with). I believe the fingers that are bending down should be bending at another joint into his palm, instead of just straight down. It'll make it look more realistic :]
