Gasp! Something traditional from me?!

Well yeah XD It's been a while since I tried to do something with the pencils I have. Anyway about a 4 to 5 months ago I bought a set of 'color' pencils thinking that I eventually would use them. Tried them once but the kind of paper I used didn't agree with them so much.. So they sat around collecting dust like some of my other art stuff. However, I just kind of felt the urge to do something more traditional over digital. I had started this drawing on Sunday, finished the sketch Sunday night or Monday evening, inked it and hope I wouldn't mess up, then broke out the pencils! I enjoyed using them over the prisma set I had while I was in my college art class. For one they have yet to break after sharpening and they went on nice and smooth.

After I did the lineart my MLP OC Seafoam was screaming at me to do her, lol. So I did and I'm pleased with this (I love her hair! Not so much her tail but..) and I tried to do her eyes like I do digitally.. I need to work on that XD

But what do you guys think? And yeah lame title but eh what else is new.

FYI: It looks sooo much better irl... scanner kills color

Normal printing paper
Polycolor color pencils
Micron 01 pen
White paint (for the eye reflection)
Adobe Elements 5 (for name and BG edge cleanup)
