Description
The creation of this set up was not intentional. In my room one evening with some friends over the room was candle lit, with chilled music and (as shown in the photograph) i had incense oil burning. The glass of water that i had brought up was then placed in front of this burner on top of the chest of drawers. At some point in time considerably later than the glass was put down i saw the image and grabbed my camera.

The refraction of the image within the glass of water makes it possible to see both the edge of the oil burner as it was and the distorted image through the water. I originally used flash but the colour and tone was ruined, therefore i set it to slow exposure with no flash and i got this result. I suddenyl found i had a paasion for photography of glasses of water!
