Ahh he seems like he's closer to the actual american pit bull terrier standard Though his name misled me to think he was a doberman LOL. Still a very, very pretty pit β™₯

Oh, he's gorgeous! I so wish I had room for some more dogs, but three in a rental is pushing it.
I really do hope he gets adopted. Who can resist those eyes?

Oh I understand totally, esp trying to rent with a Pit Bull! That's a big reason we don't own a Pitty, and only work actively with rescue, is that we have no idea where we'll be in a few years/are renting now so the future is open. Having a large dog household is hard enough, but sadly even having one Pitty is HARDER to rent with, since so many insurance companies don't allow Pits

Yeah, my landlord isn't too crazy about pits. I seriously would want to adopt a pit bull one day, but we were talking about dogs to her and she suddenly rambled off on "why would anyone would want to own a pitbull?" and I kinda went, "Whoa..."
So obviously no pits here until we can buy a house of our own.

Has he been adopted yet?

He's still waiting on a home, but has had a little interest. Hopefully soon, as I'd like to see him in a home getting more one-on-one attention!

That's wonderful but we're having to put my malamute down and getting another dog so fast would be hard..

I have a three year old blue female pittie named SakΓ© that'd probably get along great with him if he'd be alright with hyper play I don't want her to be alone for too long.. so in general I might actually look into adopting from you guys in the future even if it isn't this lovely I would Love to own another pit - they're amazing! So far SakΓ© has literally saved my life three times from people breaking into the house and scaring them off. Half of the people won't even come up to our house if she's outside. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body but her bark is just vicious sounding but I like it, the less people the better. Whenever people do come up to the house she's on her back wagging her tail waiting for a belly rub, though. When my two year old nephew was here she had no problems with him at all, I was so surprised/happy! He literally stuck his hands in her mouth and kept taking away her toys and she didn't even care.. I still can't believe people have deemed pit bulls as bad as they are. My own mother use to be terrified and now she hugs on and kisses SakΓ© every single day.

Oh, pardon: his name made me think of "Doberman," and his snout seemed more slimmer/delicate than a pitbull's

He's young, and will fill out/head will broaden as he matures. Also, not all Pitty's have a big found head, but he's still obviously Pit Bull. He's actually even a correct size for a Pitty, less than 40lbs! He'd had fun with weightpull, agility, or another sport

He was named after Dobby the elf on Harry Potter, since he resembles that Dobby, esp when he smiles.
