Description The beautiful goddess Nox (Night), the daughter of Khaos (Air) walks across the land drawing her cloak of darkness for the people to lay their heads. She was the oldest of goddess and was held with so much awe that even the almighty Zeus was careful not to displease her.

I had lots of fun with this image. It was a joint project with a beautifully talented young man I loved working with Tuomas and we have an other project we will be working on (the theme of spring)

Thanks Doc! I painted a separate layer for the river and lakes. I then used the dog and burn tools to cause the different depths in the water.

Thank you very much Tuomas was the one who made the night sky with the stars. He sent that layer to me and I added it in. He has great planet and night seens.
