Why does everyone keep deleting their Palette Challenge Memes!? WHY?!! DX*flops*
Anyway, I got really freaking tired of the palette challenges getting taken down. I want to do drawings in all the palettes but ugh. Why you people no let me?
So I went to google and found this MASSIVE palette collection that was made ever so beautifully full of pretty colors and I decided to upload it here so that way it will Never. Get. Deleted.
I want to make this clear...
I did not create these palettes!
Sure, I put all the palettes into one image and added a few decorative pretties here and there, but really. The important stuff is not mine. The original posts for these palettes come from the Tumbler account DeathInHeavens here: deathinheavens.tumblr.com/post…
I... don't really know how tumbler works, so if "respect artist rules" also means "do not repost anywhere" then I'm sorry. Dx
If the original artist comes along and tells me to take this down then I will. I'll be really sad about it since I just want a constant source of palette-ness for my drawings without worrying the challenge I'm working from will be deleted (again), but it's her art so it's her rules and I will obey them regardless of what I want.
ANYWAY!
I hope to someday do every single freaking palette on this thing. Anyone is free to use this palette challenge for their own drawings too, although if you wish to give credit to anyone for this then please direct it to the original tumbler account I got this from. Thank you~

Eh, I don't count using layer effects as cheating. The challenge in the palette challenge is to use only certain given colors, not that you should only use them on normal layers. Most people just use the colors for flats because that's just the simplest way to complete the challenge, so while it is the most common way to see the challenge be done it doesn't mean it's the right and only way to do it.
So long as you only use a palette's colors I feel you should be good, so keep doing them whatever way you want~ ^w^

You are supposed to do whatever the heck you want with them.
Most people like to do these challenges with flat colors, but the real point of it is to color a picture with a limited palette. I mean, look at what I like to do with my challenges. I like to use different layer effects to give me a wider range of colors and whatnot without actually using more colors than I've been given. The challenge in the challenge is figuring out how to make something awesome with only a few given colors, so if you want to blend them to get a certain affect you want then go on ahead~ ^w^
