somebody told me once that
religion is good,
because it gives those who need it something to lean on,
and a set of rules
to those with little self-guidance, which i completely agree with,
its only when they try to force others
to be the same that i disagree >.<

I had almost the exact same relationship with my own mum last year. She was not a happy bunny when she found out that not only I supported gay rights, but that I'd had my fair share of experiences with other girls too ^^' It wasn't necessarily religious reasons either, she just couldn't stand the fact that her daughter was... like that :/
I hop that stuff between and your mum settle down, I know it's not the best feeling being distance from your parents.

i was in my room when i wrote this

it was because i had a fight
with my mom about how she thought
i was reading 'inappropriate' books (because there was one gay kiss)
so then we got into
how i support gay rights,
and it just went downhill from there

i have a VERY conservative, christian mother,
and the rest of my family (except my dad)
are the same way, just less..intense..
and that is definitley not how i am,
so it proves to be a problem
