Description
Doing a winter themed jewelry has always been a challenge because generally it was all about white and white. I personally like white but sometimes people just wanted something different
This is my last piece for 2014. Commissioned piece that was long overdue because the owner wanted the blue topaz to appear like my Jewel of Oceania. I can't make the same piece - I just don't have the heart and clearly my mind was not there anymore. So I came up with this - a combination of swiss-blue Topaz with moonstones - my second attempt to match gemstones by their mineral contents and I must say that again I am very much satisfied with the result.
This will be my last post in 2014. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, dear friends, watchers, and browsers!
