Street Performer. First attempt at true street photography, so it's rather bad. Well, I learned that you can still properly play the accordion with one hand, be more stealthy (I was using slow purposeful, clear movements), and be prepared. But I like how the feeling turned out (Yeah, the I don't like the subject pose too much, but other than that).

This photo truly conveys humanity and its ever so apathetic nature. The shutter speed, to blur out the human, is perfect. the blur almost demonises the creature, into something fleshless - just a mere shadow, not even going to look at the musician. Such dark colours, with such contrasts, really reflect on how this earth is tainted. This seems like a visual example of the corruption of society. The musican is hiding their face, this shows shamefulness. However, I suppose the one that should be shameful is the person ignoring them, and you have suggested that they dont even deserve a face (or a body). The bricks almost looks like a cage, as the perception of the world, is one big fat ugly cage.

Well done, bleak.

I like that she is hiding her face ... it gives the impression that the blurred presence is about to attack, oh and I love the noise in the shot

heh she didn't want her pic taken... have you been cursed out yet? lol, i hate when people try to curse me out... but keep up with street photography, its fun. yes its hard, and you'd be lucky to get one good shot out of a 100 but its fun candidly capturing people.

I think I've been cursed at. There was this Russian street puppeteer (Who I also saw in Sweden, I think he was doing a northern Europe 2008 tour or something ), and because I only ever saw him once a year in Finland. Anyway, some drunk bastard behind him notices my camera pointing in his direction (Keep in mind, the puppeteer was more interesting than a half unconscious moron) and started yelling at me inconstantly. I couldn't exactly hear what he was saying, was too busy listening to "Venus in Furs", but he sounded angry, so I walked away at what looked like a leisurely pace, but I was actually speeding up ever so slightly xD

I actually really like this one.
It's very similar to my "Disregarding the Homeless"
All in all the emotion i get from this piece is a great start for your first attempt at street photography.

Thanks, I never realised just how hard street stuff is, atleast on the first few go's, untill I shot this. But it is a thrilling type of photography, I must say.

Lepavara, but yeah, Helsinki is nice. Hmm... Maybe if there is a statue performer, he won't be able to move and... HAHA! Non-blocked faces, her I come.
