Moonrise - Byron Bay lighthouse, NSW Australia. It was a beautiful night to be outdoors. *onesadlittleboy and myself weren't expecting to witness moonrise, it was quite other wordly. Cheers for the company and drinks Cameron

Its also unusual in that one half of the shot almost entirely contains the building and the other side is balanced by the clouds...

Missed this one Drew and it sure should be going up for some competitions. The thing I really like is that the exposure caught the day blue sky with stars on the right and a day like effect on the left. Thats what gives it the sureal feel.... oh...I feel..a ..fav..coming on...yep!

seriously... its worth considering how you can use this shot to further your prospects... I think it has that sort of impact.My most sucessful shot has been the Light moves Port Macquarie light painted shot... almost a similar photo in many ways!

moonlight, lighthouse, moving clouds, long exposure = similarities... its got aceptances in comps, won me a memory card and a $1100 Epson printer in comps!

I see the similarities yeah. I would get rid of that one bright star in the sky, it's more of a distraction for me. Lovely work though, and that lighthouse is so small compared to Byron Bay's.
