It's always an amazing reminder of just how tiny Rukia is, especially when she's standing next to someone tall. She's so itty bitty.

Ahh, i know right, she's so tiny, i love it (thought Byakuya is not really that tall (like 180 cm i think), if she was standing next to RenjiΒ though... hehe)

Geez yes when she stands next to Renji it's funny. I can't even imagine her standing next to someone even taller like Shunsui or Komamura. Even Kenpachi is huge. She'd be dwarfed next to the tall ones.

Yep as heights go Komamura is tallest then Kenpachi then Shunsui. Nearly everyone else is 6' 1" or less. Β
Yeah those height differences. You don't notice until you see someone tiny next to someone huge. *e.x. look at the captain's line up pre yama-jii's death. Hitsugaya barely comes up to Shun's waist level.* Β Even Soi Fon and Unohana are tiny by comparison.Β
I love all the diversity too. It's what makes it so interesting.

Oh yeah the diversity is nice! (Doesn't come any close to for instance One Piece lol, but the heigh diference there is just for the sake of parody haha.. even if I still love it)
Kubo doesn't pay too much attention to keeping it accurate though Β (e.g. Yoruichi standing next to Urahara appears almost as tall as him even if there's supposed to be almost 30cm difference.. but yeah)

It is. (again sorry for delayed reply :C Β ) Β I just can't get into OP the artwork makes me too dizzy, it's way to busy for my eyes to follow. There's too much looping and patterns in general and they usually clash. It's part of my sensory problems. It makes looking at certain art bother my eyes and gives me a dizzy feeling. (I have SPD. sensory processing disorder) Β So anything thing that's too busy in backgrounds and foregrounds makes it difficult to read. The anime's not as bad and I can watch that, but I just can't read OP manga.
Yeah Kubo really doesn't pay much attention to things like that. Β That's a continuity problem that he has lots of trouble with. Like Orihime's boobs getting bigger each chapter, or that whole mix up with Shun's eyepatch in the recent chapter. He totally forgot to draw it and the scar along the temple. Everyone was going on about how that had to be one of Aizen's illusions. No it was just Kubo's fuck up. There would have been no time for Aizen to pop in there and change things in front of Haschwalth or Nanao from the time blondie entered the office to the point were Kubo forgot the eyepatch. Besides that's not a very Aizen like trick. He's more subtle. Plus I doubt very much for a lieutenant as loyal as Nanao would go along with one of Aizen's schemes. It was a simple blunder. And the whole tea thing was just him being polite. Β Nothing more. Β Β

Yeah, Kubo can be a bit sloppy w/ unimportant details like this, but he's a hard-working mangaka, I really can't imagine howdifficult it's gotta be to draw a weekly serialized manag for yearsΒ so... details like that is just easy to overlook + he still manages to keep the important stuff meaningful and interesting and I think that's rly admirabkle :')
