I like that, even though you're a Zutaran (and one of the best fanartists of the ship), you make Kataang look good, too. I don't like it when people portray Aang as someone he's not; i.e., a heartless jerk or a grudge-holder.

Mmm.. I liked the kataang, but... sorry but Aang looks so weird!! in panel 3 and 5 he looks... like a statue! he looks like he has no emotion... but I liked penel 6!! it looks sweet! ^^ have you seen other "older Aang"s in DA?
Oh! and I thinks he's growing hair right?... to be honest I would have prefered bald Aangy! XD
I like the Kataang! keep going!! (even if I know that in your story they will break up for some... very strange reason xD )

Well. Maybe Aang looks weird because I tend to draw them in my style rather than straight up animation cell style. Also, Aang has been meditating and studying up in the highest parts of the temple for a few days. That's why his hair is growing out a bit.
He may seem statue-like because:
1. He was just in a trance.
2. He has lived, traveled and snoogled with Katara for like 4 years already and just seeing her doesn't make him flip out like it used to. I think I drew some admiration in his eyes.
3. He's listening to Katara.
4. He's 16. The age at which they would have told him he was the Avatar. If you think back to what we know of the airbenders they definitely had senses of humor but most of them also displayed an inner peace. I have seen some older Aang art here and there. I don't exactly go looking for it though. I like my interpretation to be a fresh perspective.
(Why would you think they're going to break up?)

2. No. Not bored. But it's certainly not like first crush love anymore.
Love doesn't stay the same at all times and forever. It grows and/or sometimes fades.
The people in love grow and change too. (especially from 12 to 16 years of age.)
If you're lucky you grow together ...
But if the nature of love was constant, no one would break up EVER.
And that's just not the case. 
There's still one more page left in this Kataang flashback.
And there's no fighting or 'boredom' in it.

Katara (who will have several costume changes)
is sporting her water/air nomad spring look.
Inspired by Avatar Aang's infamous robes.
It's an asymetrical light blue dress cinched at her tiny waist.
Revealing her crisp white under garments.
Momo loves Katara too!!!!!!!!!!
