This is my character study of Frog-Man form Marvel Comics Avengers Initiative Program in preparation for future projects.

Initially these studies would show how I would interpret the character and understand their costumes. I started by drawing profile and frontal views of the character with an "action pose" on the left side to help familiarize myself with the character. However, that quickly became tedious and boring, so I adding a sketch of the character. These sketches were loose and looked great in pencil. But once inked and colored, they looked pretty crappy. So now with the help of digital toning I can enhance the sketch and hopefully make the process fun and entertaining again.
