Here's all 6 of them. Choose 1 from the top 3 and 1 from the bottom 3.I'm interested if official grass starters will ever verge out of being based on reptiles.

So typically the starters I choose are water or fire, but babino looks neat. I thought about an electric fire cheetah line speedah-->heatahΒ

Indeed. That's an unfortunate pattern lately. The pattern may end with Emboar. I think it was finishing of a theme based on a story/legend of a monkey fighting a pig. It's just a coincidence that Blaziken was already there. The problem with using the same type combo is one of them will overshadow the others. Infernape is probably most attractive with speed and attack. Sweeper Pokemon are just the simplest to strategize with. Be the fastest with really hard hitting attacks. Blaziken and Emboar have to hope they're bulky enough to take a hit and then use a hard hitting attack. But I suppose coming up with strategies is the art of game and should be what makes it interesting and fun. But hopefully next time a different type combo will be used for the Fire-type starter.

Despite the fact that they keep up the fire/fighting combo, it packs a heck of a punch! Emboar is a BEAST in a battle, at least if his level is the same as the opponents.

2 in the middle since one looks like fire pokemon and another one looks like water pokemon but I know both fire

I much prefer the bottom 3, much better designs to me. I LOVE the idea of a fire type not with some fire on it's body, as well as being based on a crustacean. So Shrimatch. I'm sorry but I'm not a big fan of Driplan, but I think it might be because I don't completely understand the concept, and I feel if I have to look something up to understand it on a basic level, it might be a bit too complex for a Fakemon. So I'd have to chose Babino. It's pretty cute, and as the design has interesting marking, it has a lot of potential when it evolves

Yep. I have some designs in mind for 2nd and 3rd stages. I think I'll submit them one by one as I complete them.
Corizzle should be quite different once it evolves. I try not to make it look too much like Articuno.
