"Too bad. The maskshape's all torn off now. No more buttons. All their seams got ripped apart."

Now that I've covered most of the the heroes it's time to start moving in to some of the baddies. This is V'Flayo. Quick! What color is opposite orange on the color wheel? I still haven't mastered it, but I did introduce more colors into the shading spectrum. Instead of just coloring with dark red and highlighting with yellow, I used purple, green, and blue. I like the result. I want each of these concept pieces to be an experiment, and I seem to be moving in leaps and bounds. I still have to pull a color wheel up on the Internet to pick my colors correctly, though. His pose is also one of those that's looks okay at first glance, then kind of becomes awkward the more you look. I have a marker drawing of Qita from earlier on that is the exact same dynamic. Weird. His colors need a little work, too; I was trying to go for deep crimson coat and rust-red mane.

V'Flayo is a four hundred year old Fire daemon, and sadly nutzo. Daemons are immortal in body, but mortal in mind, and V'Flayo went round the twist a while ago. Unfortunately, he's very powerful and is carrying some insane grudges. He used to be Jiwaze', one of the good guys, but when his mind went he went out in a blaze of betrayal. V'Flayo is not the gibber-and-run-around-in-circles insane, (although he does talk cracked) he's the diabolically insane. And the most dangerous type of insane, because he thinks he's sane. Crazy people never think they're crazy, eh? Eh? You get me?
