this is a picture I took on the way to Texas Tech University. I love how the sky is always to pure in color that it makes me feel at home, as long as I am in Texas.edited in photoshop

Wow this is a great shot, but the moon is so massive and white ...did you stitch two images together? I have problems capturing the moon so powerfully without zooming into it

I finally decided. After lurking through your gallery for a long while, that this piece is one of my favorites of the bunch.
I absolutely adore the colors, the moon and the silhouettes. I love how even though the moon is only a slight sliver, very strong details are apparent.
The sky looks like it's on fire, burning around the horse and rider and it gradually melds into that sort of washed out midnight blue at the top. It's beautifully deep red at the bottom corners and brilliant orange as your eye is led up.
Brilliant job.
