Cupcake, yes yes.Named after that one Amon Tobin song by the same name <3
This took me 2 hours! I took so many time make this. It was meant to be a small quicky art, BUT NOW IT IS AS LONG AS BAKING THE CUPCAKES AS IN REAL LIFE!!
Golly.
Do you ever get it when you wanna make something up on the fly, and then it looks dreadful, and then you google search what you're drawing, so's you get prompted what it looks like, but feel a profound sense of shame for not just blasting it off your mind like it was already in your head?

Yes, I once tried a cupcake in vectors and it took even longer than making a real one. And I couldn't even eat it in the end. Sometimes things are far more detailed than one initally thinks. The little ribs in the paper here, with their lights and shadows. Then you can't just leave the whole surface in a plain colour, it needs detail, texture and a formed surface which needs lights and shadows, again. Add some decoration. And then... background!
But I'd say it was worth the effort, the stomach in my eyes really approves your cupcake!

Yeah foreal. There's a lot of aspects in artwork that people don't acknowledge needs attention, until they're actually making a thing and wonder why it doesn't look right, haha.
