how do you make sure the anatomy is correct? doesn't look like you had "models" sitting there.
and what kind of light source did you use? I'm guessing it was something thin and long(ish).

I was my own model. that was me sitting in both spots. it was a cold cathode made for a computer tower to make them light up on the inside. i modified it with a switch and portable power supply that runs 9Vs and attched it to a handle.

Hey thanks. It's called light painting. I build lights and have a couple sponsors that send me lights to use for promotional use. If you are interested in learning this technique msg me and i'll get you started. other than it's magic so you'll have to figure the rest out on your own.

So I have the EOS 550D (it's I think the Rebel T2i), building up circuits with LEDs shouldn't be difficult.
But your pics are far away from the basic light writing I knew

it's quite different form light writing. Do you have a remote trigger or bulb trigger of sorts and a tripod? that would be the first things to get. then all you ned are some lights and an imagination. I started off with steel wool which you can find anywhere from walmart to any hardware store. stuff it intot a whisk with a rope ties to the other end spark it and see what happens. sorry to say but i hadn't really time the last weeks. I had to do and will have to do overtime hours at work. And whats left of my free time on the day I spent with other things. May be the x-mas holidays will give me enough free time to do some lp.
