I always thought Super Metroid had a nice beam visual, but I was mistaken. I mean, the Ice Beam its three blue lines. In Zero Mission for GBA, the beam look like three small blue comets, much cooler. But even so, the Big Metroid still is scary!

I prefer the lines myself, seems more laser instead of shooting snowballs at enemies.
