Description
I decided to give this a bg (otherwise it would be my favourite sitting pose on an invisible object), but only after I cut it out from the pad, so the paper would surely crumple if I tried to color it, thus the shitty photoshop coloured bg. Just a mindless picture, nothing more

On the plus side, the background still has some of that organic, textured paper feel to it, which I think helps to keep it cohesive. But the texture it has isn't as complex as the painted textures on the character, so it also helps to keep the focus on them. So, even if you the background and its colors aren't the best you can do, I think they are successful in adding more interest to the pic.
I really like the painted textures on the character's outfit. It gives them a rougher, older feel that kinda fits with the vaguely steampunk design of the outfit. The materials of the outfit have a believable feel and texture that I think helps to draw you in.
I think the hand looks good, how its resting against the seat. I like the face a lot; I like the shape, with the kinda longer feel it has to it, with the quirky and soft smile positioned so close to the chin. I think coupled with the hairstyle, that face shape gives her a unique look.
