Description
Technically I already submitted this picture as a part of my short story, A Quasar for Books , but I like how some of the illustrations came out so much that I'm going to submit them separately as well.
These two are librarians struggling to keep the last library in the galaxy to hold tangible books open.
The alien on the left is the main character--a telepath named Crawley. His love of books is so dramatic he may just turn to crime to save his library.

AS I recall, Crawley's love of books means that pastry on pages is a capital sin. Somehow that doughnut needs to be a little 'drippier.'
