If I had a nice, decent, professional camera, I'd take great photos with infrared. I just love them and this picture has the right colours to give it a distinct aura of a fragile solitude.

And you don't need an expensive, professional camera to take infrared photos...this one, for example, was taken with a Canon PowerShot A510, which is worth no more than $100 right now... add $30 for an IR filter and you're ready to step into the wonderful world of infrared

Unfortunatelly, my camera does not accept filters. The objective is too small and too fragile to do it so, it's a sony s600. I mean, the images are good (but the photographer isn't), but there aren't as many resources as the other ones out there.

Where? In shops, I guess 
Look for the one called Hoya R72.
And the photo isn't really black&white when you shoot with IR...it's more like a red/purple combination.

Yep, I did a lot of adjustments, including soften, surface blur, noise reduction and colors, of course...That's because of the poor quality of the original image (infrared, you know...always ugly when not processed
