God I love this book series and I super love the covers. So fantastic. This series and the mercy Thompson series are my absolute favorites of all time. I should've known they were done by the same artist. So amazing!

This book is an example of the power of cover art. I specifically bought the book because I was desperate to read it since the cover art was so incredible and had caught my eye. The book was good, but what I really treasure is being the proud owner of such a cool looking book.
